First off merry christmas to everyone. Ok I put this system in my civic and I'm having a problem. The amp turns off when I put a cd in. If the radio is on it will turn on fine but once the cd goes in it turns right off. This is the 2nd wiring kit I've used, everything is quadroople checked and hooked up correctly and all fuses are good to go. Any idea of what's going on? The deck has a brand new harness and we just installed a new radio harness i got from a junkyard. The cd player and speakers work perfect but no power to the amp?????? help me someone!!!

 

i had the same thing happen to me and i cant really remember what is was, but i think it was eather somthing with your preouts, you have them hooked up the wrong way, or your deck settings, some settings will set them selfs from default to turn the amp off when switching to cd,or to radio... play around with your deck or check the deck manual

 

If you play the radio the subwoofers work? Do they cut out at high volume?

 

you mixed your power antenna wire with your remote turn on wire. on your HU, there is one blue wire & one blue with white stripe wire. The wire going to your amp should be connected to the blue with white strip wire on the HU.
