Default please help me!

ok, i just bought alpine type r front and rear speakers. front - 350w peak, 70w rms and the
rear - 275w peak, 55w rms. 1st of all, do i need an amp for the speakers or should i get one or what? after all that i want two type r 12's. i dont know whether to get 2ohm+2ohm or 4ohm+4ohm. so, thats my 2nd question. these subs are 1500w peak and 500w rms. i was looking into the v12 series amps but i dont know what wattage to go for or anything. i want to have the maximum amount without overdoing it ( same way with the speakers ). so, can any of you help me on which setup to get? my birthday is in 8 days and i want a really good system. please help me out because i am lost on how much power i need to power all of the speakers and subs. also, is there anything else that i need to go with all of this? can my battery/alternator handle it? whatever i need, i will save my $ and get it because i want good stuff and dont mind spendin my money on something i want. thanks!

If you are gonna get an amp to power subs, it's gonna drown out your front speakers and IMHO will make your setup sound crappy. You don't NEED an amp, but; again IMO, it will be worth it to get one.
For the subs, there are more amps that are 2 ohm compliant than 1 ohm compliant, especially in big name quality companies. You really could go with either.

OK. First off, you dont really need an amp for your speakers. Also, your alpines are WAYYYYY over rated. Just use your own judgement. If you waht good sound, use an amp

ok a 500W amp is over kill, you have 2 speakers that can handle 55W and 2 that can handle 75w. Look for an amp that can run like 80w rms per channel for 4 channels, so like a 300W amp will be more than enough.

Subs, as for that 500w rms, I'm sorry but that is grossly over-rated, I would not put more than 350w rms to each sub. A 700-800w sub will be all you need. You have to keep in mind that the RMS rating is max CONSTANT power the speakers can handle. So going over that rating will damage your speakers, fast.

i have been looking around and i think i found what i want. i have a few questions though. will this amp - http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ALPINE-MRD-M...QQcmdZViewItem work with these - http://cgi.ebay.com/2-ALPINE-SWR-122...QQcmdZViewItem subs? i wasnt so sure because it said that it was a mono amp. i want to be able to get 500w to each sub. also, if i got a 4 channel amp for all 4 of my speakers, would this one work - http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-2005-A...QQcmdZViewItem thanks for any help.
