Default Please help, mp3 integration

This is my first post so sorry if im doing something wrong. But i have a 2004 civic Lx that is to my knowledge all stock. I am trying to get my ipod to work in my car without the use of an fm transmitter (i am using the transmitter now but there is always this annoying static). So i am looking for a direct connection and one that is fairly easy and cheap. Basically i was hoping for some kind of easy access aux plug that is behind the stereo head unit but im not sure, and i didnt wanna go ripping the stereo out just to find that there is no input. Also it doesnt have to be an ipod specific plug, i would be fine with the normal aux/headphone type jack that i could just plud my ipod or for example my friends zune into.

Help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

get this: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/blitzhonauxdmxv1.html

and this: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pieunipod.html

not really cheap though
for a cheaper solution, just buy the first one, and a male dual RCA to male 3.5mm aux plug converter. you can find one at like walmart for a few bucks.

Take some pics of your head unit. It should be pretty easy to remove.

Haynes manual ftw! Hit your local autoshop and order a civic manual. Best investment EVER.

just wondering at $60 each totaling to $120, have you consider getting an aftermarket head unit that has the AUX output?
