Power Inverter
I've got an '03 civic. I'm on the road a lot for work, with the laptop. So, I'm thinking of picking up a 100W power inverter. If the computer is running constantly off of the car's power, is it going to noticeably screw with my gas mileage?
i dont think it would hurt anything if thats all your powering..........
tho most labtops dont need a power inverter... go check out your local radio shack and see wha they can get for ya that would jsut plug into the cig lighter and then into the back of your labtop...

i dont think it would hurt anything at all......
and even if it did it would be so minut youd never notice it...
i bump my system realy hard all the time.. 1200watts and my milage is almost the same from when i bought the car...

hurting the mileage....that's a new one to me. i guess in some kind of very technical way it's feasible, but not gonna happen. and the only way a system would hurt your mileage would be the extra weight you're carrying around

well actualy when the alternator engages is does put a small drag on the motor.... but the power inverter wont suck that much extra power....
