Default Power Window Fail

My driver's side and passenger's side windows just had the motor and regulators replaced like three days ago on my EJ8, but the windows still roll up slow and sometimes the passenger side window stops half way. My mechanic says that it's because the rubber around the window is cracking and old making it harder for the window to move around...is this true and what can I do to fix this.

honda can build really good cars and motors but they never seemed to master the window. This is a common problem with those years as teh rubber inside the track will cause the window to bind up and pop out of the track or bend the track. I usually just spray some silicon in the tracks once a month and they work great. The problem is that dirt and debris gets into the rubber and the window no longer glides so the lube helps that problem. Never had another problem since i started doing that.

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to make note of that when Wednesday rolls around and I go back to the shop.
