Default remote start on a 5 spd manual??

i know it can be done.. ive seen it. ive been told that there's some wire bypass' that need to be done for it to work. does anybody know how to install a remote start to a stick so that the clutch doesnt need to be in for the car to start??

i want to install an alarm/keyless entry/remote start on my 96 ex 5 spd.

i looked around online but couldnt seem to find instructions on how to do it.

anybody know how?

thanks

I just pay my wife to get dressed, go start my car for me, and come back in all cold. It works pretty well, but the prices keep going up every month.

cars have been messed up badly with the auto starts on manuals because some people keep their cars in gear and when they start it, it goes to hit something or someone!!!!

You have to bypass the switch that tells the ignition whether or not the clutch is depressed.

i have it installed on my manual...i'm not sure exactly how it was wired, but a friend of a friend helped install it...

but yeah, I had to sign a paper saying they DIDN'T install it for me even though they did, just so they aren't liable in the event that I leave the car in gear, remote start, and it hits a car or person, etc...

from what I've heard, if you park it in hear, and you remote start, it will keep driving forward....i accidentally did it once while we were working on the car and it almost hit my friend's car in the garage...=/...so just be careful with it

like i said i know it can be done. i just dont know which wire i have to bypass. and thats what im asking for. im going to install an alarm/keyless entry/remote start all at one time.. but i cant do that till i know how to wire it so it'll start my car. but i need an alarm soon. cuz everywhere i go im worried about my chit gettin ganked. haha.

so if anyone knows which wire it is that'd be great. thanks.

Really? I figured it'd lurch a bit then stall, provided you have your handbrake on.
