i'm currently workin on the project of takin my 2001 civic apart and putting dynamat all over while the seats are out i want to clean them to the near new condition
what kind of places do this kind of service?
also the carpet stinks and got few holes in it, i wonder if i can put the new one in or what can i do to take care of the smell and holes?
i think the car leaks somewhere so i will drive around without a carpet under the rain to check where the leak can be.

 

no need to take it out. Get some of that oxy clean stuff..........and a stiff brush......and a shop vac........then fill a bucket with hot *** water and oxyclean and scrub the carpets and then use the shop vac to suck the nasty water up......if u do this 3 or so times the carpets are like new. (i speak with experience)

 

i'm taking it out anyway since there is a leak somewhere and i want to put dynamat on the floor, where do i get a shop vac?

 

home depot or walmart or whatever.....theyre cheap....u can get a real good one for 30 bucks or so.

 

took mine out, it is FUBAR, the car is leakin either from the windshield or from the grill where the wipers are. i want to get a new carpet, where can i get one and how much would it cost?
the person who had the car b4 me did not use floor mats so there are holes in the carpet and there were a lot of dust and the sound dumpener on the bottom of the carpet was soaked with water and stinky, i dont know if there is a way to fix the wholes and get rid of the discusting smell of the carpet.
