Does anybody have any experience, or have you heard anything about the Sony Xplod series? This months Turbo had a lot of stuff on it, and I was at Best Buy today, and it was very well priced. I mostly looking at the amplifiers and speakers, so any additonal info would be cool.

In a word, Sony XPLOD is CRAP. For the same price you could have something way better. Some of their HIGH END stuff is alright but most of it isnt so great.

Any feelings on the XAV-A1 head unit? For 800 bucks it seems like a pretty damn good deal to me...

the headunits are alright, the speakers are OKAY..amps/subs are horrible. in other words, put your money somewhere else unless you are getting a deal.
