How Much Of A Difference does putting aftermarket speakers do compared to the stock **** ones??? I have a aftermarket system and a pioneer headunit...it sounds good but how much better with better spakers????? THANX

I am swaping my stock in 01 to these http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...model=SPR-17LP some time this week...
Don't got amp yet or a fancy headunit... (going to put a pc into the trunk and lcd in the dash, project is in progress so by next summer i'll have it done)
Are you thinking of just swaping or adding an amp? subs?
Anyhow i'll let you know in few days how much of difference it makes...

 

A hell of alot better. Usually factory cars come with 100 to 150 watt single channel speakers, where as aftermarket speakers have high number of dB, watts, and channels. The alpines that I have in my closet are 250 watt 3way speakers. They sound awesome. The perfect amount of bass and sound quality. Research the type of speakers you want to go with, but I really would recommend both of these.

 

^ no. Usually they come with 5 watt speakers. And your aftermarket speakers probably have never seen more than 40 watts.

That is great that you are upgrading. However your bass might not be as phenominal as you would expect. Look into a single subwoofer to fill in the void.

 

Iight yea i have a amp(1600watts) and 2x audiobahn(1600watts) system in trunk....just wanted to see how much better aftermarket speakers inside would be....right now it sounds good but i guess louder inside will equal out the bass so i can make the bass louder hahaha thanx
