focals remind me of QSD tweets... you can get some control over them by running active and using a 30 band.
but the harshest tweets iv'e ever heard have got to be kicker SSs,, talk about listening fitegue.lol

Diamonds are cheaper, so get those! Seriously...ditch all the speakers, and MA amp for them and get one bad *** set of components and a better amp for them. If you spend your money and effort on those, everything else you add will be a waste of money since you won't hear them. But whatever you do,forget about the 6x9s in the trunk with the subs........waist of time.

Diamonds lack mid-bass, and they don't really have anything to even compare to the Powerline in any catagory.

Haven't heard much on D9s. But almost anything on 3-way active is going to sound nice lol. I do know Hexs regular are not worth the price.

I run Rainbow Germaniums with ~320 per side :-D, plan on adding anohter set in the coming weeks. (Fiberglass time )

if you dont work for a shop that sells them they are a little hard to pay MAP for , i tell customers to buy d6s over hexs every day of the week...just because of the price differnce... i dont think hexs perform that much better.

a little off topic but it's kind of nice talking SQ with someone else ..most people i deal with just want subs and coaxils. it's nice to know that thers other people who appericiate something that actullay sounds good
