ya its typical BASS RATTLE
you can try a few things but they only slightly help it alittle. dont expect to get rid of it all....
1 try adjusting the latch to close tighter
2 get some truck camper shell foam thats about 1/4inch think and apply it around the trunk lid close to where the stock weatherstriping runs along.

tho their is one downfall to either way.... youll have to slam the trunk lid pretty hard sometimes depending on how tight ya adjust it.... but sometimes it can be something small piece thats rattling.could be the liscence plate trim panel rattling.

once you've had subs for a while, things will start to rattle loose. just the way it is. My civ is really bad for it. just takes time to find out hat everything is and how to make it rattle less by jamming things in different places

I've had a few problems with rattling. First it was my license plate. I just had to tighten it down, and put some super glue on the corners. So that was it wasn't metal on metal. Now it's way worse. The plastic cover behind the back seat likes to rattle up against the window. It's loud, and makes listening unbearable. I haven't really found a permanent solution for this yet. Right now I just have some sealent tape where the plastic and window connect... Temporary solution.

As for your trunk. Try to find the exact place where a connection is going on. You could try to put something soft inbetween them.

I feel your pain, man. It almost makes me not want to have my subs on at all.
