trunk lid rattle
LOL i had this problem and it pissed me off so much. and i bet it pissed off everyone around me at the light :P and so i look for dynamat. and i decided i aint paying 300 just for some silver foil. lol i moved my 2 12's to my back seat lol , my 2 door civic is now a 2 seater lol
well if youve got them in the back seat just turn the box around in the trunk to fire into the cabin and just build up some quick panels to some what seal off the trunk and box corners....
like this...

it wont sound as good as it did with it in the trunk firing the rear BUT it wont sound any worse than you having them in the back seat.LOL
i had very little trunk rattling after i made that box setup!
tho i sold the sub now so when ever i plan out the new system ive gotta rebuild, but at least my trim panel is mostly made and i can just modify it slightly for the new setup when i ever i decide what im gonna use....

The best solution is to make sure your trunk is water tight, and buy a egg foam bed cover from Walmart.
Apply to the inside of your trunk if you are too cheap to buy real sound dampening, it works great.
target rattles, easy to do. Time consuming.
