yes they are worth it especially if you go with components but even if you don't they deliver a very clean crisp high

definitely worth the trouble
my highs used to be overpowered by my mids, so i bought and installed 2" Pyramid tweeters/crossovers and now my highs are nice and clear, while keeping my clear mids.

usually the tweeters will come with the crossovers

if you don't already have new front speakers, or don't really like the ones you have, I would just buy a nice set of component speakers.

my front speakers are stock.
do i still need tweeters with component speakers?
cuz right now when i blast music, certain notes gets very high and it hurts my ears.
especially with rock music.

what level should my trebel be?
should defeat be on or off?
and does anyone use BBE with their alpine headunits?

and the tweeters that a friend gave me dont have crossovers says another friend.
