I'm looking to buy a used Civic LX or EX, model year 2002 or later, and I'd prefer to be able to plug my (non-iPod) MP3 player into the stereo directly without making (and paying for) modifications to the stereo system.

Can someone tell me when Honda began adding an auxiliary input to the standard stereos in the LX/EX models?

Or...can someone help me by telling me what resources may help me figure this out?

man im pretty sure thats an aftermarket add-on. if anything it most likely is within the 2001's and up.
