with the info you have provided..... same box same amp same car - same usage area. The type Es will hit harder because of the cone area.

The Type R is a much better spl sub.

go with the type r i have one myself and it saves room, more powerful and is lighter if that matters to u

FAIL 1-the type-r moves more than double what the type-e's move(its not about cone area its about displacement)
2-2 type-e's $300, 1 type-r $200

haha wow i havent been on this forum in a long time. 2 e's 12" found em for $65 each on amazon.. only bad thing is.. after finally getting my alpine amp, a month later i believe i blew them because i had my subwoofer on plus 14 on my headunit control
