Default contest discussion/rules

ok guys were probably annoyin the mods for havin all these contests so lets figure out a new way to make it so we do all of it ourselfs as choppers and then its not left up to anybody. in streetfire everything is annonomous it works insanely good, eveytbody pms there finished pic to the contest holder and if it has your name on it or anythign that is telling people its yours its dq'd and if you post it up anywere else on the net its dq'd. for voting there is a 1,2,3 spot and an honerable mention... to vote you say who you vote for (a,b,c,d,e,f) blah blah blah (which is set up by the contest holder) and then you tell why you voted if you want, a little comment or somthin and then honerable mention is like runner up and say why he got the runner up vote what they coulda done better and whatnot.. and then if you don't vote you get deducted points, and if you vote for yourself you get deducted points and your vote does not get counted... is this somthin like you guys would wanna do it is a lot more fun and fair and its reallynot hard to do, theres more to it then this but we don't have to make this exactly like the fires..

so suggestions, comments, i know me and luke would be happy to set things like this up so even just to start it off theres too willin guys to do the job

What's dq?

And I think it work well if we all sent ours to you or something and then you posted a thread up with all of them as "A, B, C, D..." and so on. Then at the end we can have First, Second, and Third and reveal who did all of them.

Yeah, I've been really impressed with how well it works out. Steve and I have been discussing it a bit and I dont think either of us have a problem taking on the resposibility of putting up and "handling" the contests. And this way no one would need new improved forum access to have the ability to post polls here. Though it would be nice to have the ability to sticky the thread during the comp...its not totally necessary. And another thing that would be nice is to start a thread for chop contest suggestions...then instead of debating what to chop each time, steve or I could go through that thread and pic one to use.

If everyone is on board for this I say we get one going soon.

^^+1

With not having to set up polls and worry abou interferring with others we can start new ones right after the voting goes up for the previous one...and give 2 or more weeks to get it done instead of 1 week. And its nice to offer C+C with your votes to give the people that did the work ideas on what they can improve...and what they did that turned out really well.
