Default how cool would this be?

I have a '91 civic hatchback and Have envisioned wheelwell flares to accomadate wide tires with a look similar to an old porsche 911.
I realize this is not the 'look' of the current fashion for cars but the old porsche wheelwell and wide tires appeals to me. It would also handle like it was glued to the curves.

I have a mig welder and can do body work and make it look right. The weight of the wheels is a consideration but with the turbo boosted zc engine that will go in soon shouldn't be a problem. Might even help with traction off the line. I am seriously considering this even though it will be a s***load of work.

yea but i think it would look stupid if u did that to all 4 tires. Doing it to the rear would look okay, but its a front wheel drive car, so thats deemed pointless.
