Default 95 Honda Civic TRIM reconditioning

Ok so if you have an 91 - 95 honda civic, you are well aware of the plastic trim that runs down the side of the car. When new, I am assuming it was a nice rich black, now its a nice faded gray. I tried silicone and that worked great until it rained and washed it off. I think the damage is permanent. I thought to myself, I wonder if there is a trim stain out there? If it was painted it would end up chipping off since it is plastic. I know they have plastic paint but would like to be able to armor all it for a nice shine again but it needs to get that rich black back. ANY THOUGHTS or IDEAS? I am all ears.

I thought Black Magic made some kind of black trim shine. I have the same issues with my 1997 EX and the last time I used the Meguiars plastic and vinyl protector on the black trim pieces.

Mother's "Back to Black".

P.S.

FYI the 5th generation Civic is 92-95.

The meguiars ruined my dash's finish until I started using the Mother's. Perhaps that is what you read that I had said.

I got it at Target.

And for the back-to-black, I found that at walmart.
