Default Just got first ground effects - some minor flaws...Is that normal?

Just ordered some ground effects, but they had some minor flaws...there were some areas in the corners that didn't get the plaster top that sits on the fiberglass, and also you could see some small grooves here are there. Looks like I might have to bondo it and sand it over before I get it painted. Do ground effects come like this or did I get someone's shoddy Friday afternoon job? It's not all that bad, but was surprised to see these in it...

From what I've heard and read that is typical with most fiberglass kits. Although I haven't had any personal experience with them. I've always heard people complaining about the condition the parts arrive in, and you always see them on cars chipped up and missing corners etc...

Where did you get the kit from, and what brand is it?

If you got a cheap kit, then I'm not surprized.

The one wonderfull thing about fiberglass is it's easy to repair.
