maaco does a decent job, just don't do the cheapest paint they have. I just had mine done and as far as paint goes...nice and shiney

i like maaco. they are great. i messed up the passenger side of my door not too long ago. scraped it up against the wall when pullin it into the garage.
(long story on how that happened.) there was a big bad scratch with a dent on it. went around askin how much it would cost to fix. one place says $1550. another says $999. and then one day i get rear-ended by a girl on the way to school. we decided to keep the police out of it and her mom suggested takin it to maaco. well she was payin for the damage her daughter did and i wanted to ask how much it would be to fix my door and also a couple dents around it. the told me $337. only $337, when others were tellin me at least $1000. i said ok! and when i got my car back i couldnt of been happier.

so [sm=smiley20.gif] to maaco.

maaco doesn't do bad paint jobs, unless you give them 300 dollars to paint your entire car. if you walk into maaco and ask them to paint your car with a 3 stage polyurethane paint, minimum price is like 700 dollars. its a good paint job. but i do recommend you do prep work yourself like removing trim pieces and mirrors, molding etc, you will e happier with the outcome because there will be less tape lines and imperfections in the paint.

have you ever had expiriance with maaco remmy? the maaco by my house has painted a few cars for autorama, and a couple race cars local to the area. my friends dad used to work at a maaco before he started working for mazda in the paint shop, and he painted a few cars that were at the detroit autoshow a few years back. just because its cheap doesn't mean its a horrible paint job, good paint comes from good prepwork.

i heard if you do the prep work yourself and then take your car into maaco then the paint job will turn out good. it depends where you live and who is painting your car at maaco too. all maaco shops are different. i honestly would not trust someone to paint my car for that cheap, i would find a repair shop in town to have them do mine.

maaco's paint jobs are crap. when you first get it back it looks good but after a few weeks u start to see flat spots and bubbles in the clear coat and paint because of their sorry *** prep work.
