I just went through the entire 3 step meg's process on saturday and my car has never looked better! the first step took up most of the time, step 2 and 3 are easy...i'll post pics when the weather gets a little better here and I can take some pics...definitely a thumbs up from me though. great success!

As for the buffer. I have never had any problems useing mine. Just go easy and let the weight of the polisher do the work. Dont put any added pressure on it at all. Just hold it steady on the car. But yeah everything that civicexracer said is spot on.

may be a need a higher quality buffer as mine was quite cheap in with a quite expensive bottle of polish that i got, so maybe ill get a different head for it and try it again

Mine was like $80. I would have to go look at it to tell you the brand though. I dont know how much you paid for yours, but I love mine. I got some extra heads for it online and it works great.

I thought a high pressure hose was a no-no because it would ruin the paint. I always read you just pretty much let the water come out of the hose with no nozzle on the end and let it trickle down the car, or spill buckets of water on it.

yeh i think i new head will fix my problem, as the things i have for it no are just elasticated onto the disk and sometimes dont spin the same speed as the disk.

i also agree with what white rabbit said i always thought it was bad to use a pressure washer

I also agree, i've never used a pressure washer on my car because of the intensity of the water...if anything i would only use it on my rims every once and a while when they are in dire need of a good cleaning, but i usually don't even let my car be dirty for a long time anyways except during the winter.
