trim removal

Default trim removal

basicly how do i remove/replace the ugly black trim on the ddor of my white 98 Lx 4door

The trim that goes along the door edges? Just peal it off, clean off the sticky residue and then if you want get some replacement kind like silver or whatever from autozone its like $3 for a long piece.

That might be a little much trouble but in that case i would get some kind of vinyl/rubber paint for that. But you can probably get some custom color trim on ebay. What type of color were you looking for?

Actually, I am having the same issue; I just bought a 97 HX Coupe and it has that on the door molding (not the stuff that runs along the middle of the doors, but the strips that run across the top of the doors right under the window). My car is near perfect except for the chipping of the molding strips on both sides. I want to fix it so bad, but I don't want to spend more than $20 max. I have searched High and Low and will posts pics for others to see what I'm talking about. I wish I could find something somewhere...
