Default Want To Paint My Interior

I want to paint my dash/center console black, and I have no idea about how to go about doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated (I have a 96 CX, but I bought the armrest for the center console).

Whatever you do...buy vinyl dye, and not paint

Yeah use vinyl dye for your dash. I painted my entire interior, just make sure your friends are as careful as you are. My friends treat it as a stock interior and as a result stuff will flake.

Pretty much any auto part store that carries paints. It's in a spray can so you just use it like spray paint. I used some made by Duplicolor, works great.

I found that one of the most important things is a good solid layer of topcoat clear. I put a few thick coats onto my scuffboards and places where my dirty workboots would hit and rub against and it has not flaked very much at all, considering the abuse it gets. Just a question, the lighting sanding, did it remove the texture of stock interior? If you know what I mean. Is it still rippley or is it smooth like fibreglassed interior. Sorry I cannot see the pictures, Im at work
