What is a good wax to use on my civic?

RE: Wax

Royal Blue. Check it out in the vendor section of the forums. Turtle Wax Is decent. and Ice isnt worth the hassle. Last about 5 minutes.

Oh and why the heck do you have a link for a bluetooth tester in your post? That has nothing to do with waxing...

3M or Meguiars always works for me. I recently switched to meguiars cleaner paste wax. I love paste wax.

RE: Wax

I've been detailing cars for over 4 + years professionally.

The price is all up to if you ask me but I will list the best of the best with two differnt prices.

- P21S 100% Carnauba Wax $49.99
-
P21S Concours Carnauba Wax - $31.99

Then we got a really good style wax, its swirl free. I use it on $185.00 wax jobs. This is always 150% swirl free spotless look.

- Menzerna ( Itensive polish ) ( Final Polish ) $59.00 You can get it on sale right now for $59.00 vs paying $74.00.

Make sure you use micofiber products. I also use a Port Cable 7424 buffer, makes things look a little bit better in the long run.

Cheap way to remove the old wax residue / compound on the vehicle, use DAWN soap before you wash the vehicle. Then you wash it again with the
Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner not Meguiars NXT Generation Car Wash. Also use two buckets when you wash the car toss the mit in bucket two to get the grit and grime off the mit before you use a motion stroke when you whipe the car. Also do not go in a circle motion that is what causes swirls.

By the way you also may want to clay bar your car too, it only takes about 60 - 90 mins to clay bar the car but the effort you put in claying the car will deff. show.

I hope this helped you.

Also never let the mit hit the floor, EVER!

RE: Wax

ok I heard on here that royal blue is the best...... Honestly I can say that I agree with that I've detailed my car now for 5 years now and I've used slot of stuff. I used royal blue for the first time about a month ago and omg did it come out nice but the olny problem a that there was a crap load of swirl marks left over. I didnt notice them till ingotnmy car in the sun.
