it's like pimp my ride where the pink or whatever color civic get lambo doors and a uselesselectronicly adjustable spoiler. you only need one if your going nascar speeds, and last time i checked, civics are quite up to those specs.

but to answer your question, just use a nice primer coat with a nice prep, and color and clear and done. or you can choose a single stage paint in a black or something.
