'02 vtec light

Default '02 vtec light

if i wanted to set up a light in my dash that comeon when my v-tec kicks in how hard is it to find the right connectors? does anyone have a diagram? or any info to help? it would be much appreciated, btw its an '02 civic

It's very easy...you just need to tap into the wire going to the VTEC solenoid in the engine bay...it's usually green

I have a pinout for our ECUs, I'll post it up later on today.

[EDIT]: not gonna be able to get around to posting it tonight, I'll definately get it to you tomorrow.

ok sounds easy enough..now the hard part...where to put it? any suggestions.....ohh snap!! what if i ran wires up my shifter and had my shifter light up....

ok i founde a site that told me what to do and i think i got it done but it seems like my vtecis kicking in at a low rpm like 2.5 to 3 i dont know if thats right.... here is the site i went to

-02 lol like it says in the title..yeah i was running it today and i looks like it kicks in at 2 and a quarter isnt that kinda low?
