I'm bout to drop a D15B into my 91 hatch, I have a stock D15B2 now with a 4spd Manuel tranny. I just need to get an ECU, but i've been reading about the P30 and everything that talks about it say for 5spd only. Will a P28 work for my 4spd? Or R they all for 5spd? thx

 

they dont mean 5 speed only they mean for a manual car only. You do know you are going to need to do a obd0 to obd1 conversion on the harness plus you are going to have to convert from dpfi to mpfi right?

 

Yeah I figured they meant manual and the engine that the guy is sellin is already converted to mpfi (unless my def. of mpfi is completly wrong), and I didnt know the obd0 to obd1, wouldnt that be taken care of w/the new ecu? If not what do I have to do to convert.

 

what D15B did you buy, you have a link to a add or something. Feel free to pm it to me if you dont wanna post it on the open forum for some reason. BTW if this is a OBD1 JDM D15B and he should not have had to convert it to mpfi. It is the harness in your stock car that needs to be converted.

 

no I dont have any pics its at a local shop, I'm pretty sure its already mpfi. What do I have to do to the harness?
