sure you can get msd ignition system, that will help. what else do you have done cause that will make a difference on what else you can do to increase your power.

A 200 shot on a stock motor will help you go faster lol j/k dont do that, basic bolt ons such as CAI and free'r flowing exhaust, basic little bolt ons will improve power but wont necessarily make you faster is helps your engine to make more power easier. there are a myriad of possibilites y it would be harder to go faster, ie weight and all the other stuff you carry with you and so on.

what engine is in the car?
what kinda budget are u lookin to stay around?

OK 7th gen mods:
I/H/E - NOTE: if you go Y8 mani swap make sure you call company you are looking to get intake from, tell them what you are doing and ask what is best to fit
Y8 manifold swap w/ bigger TB
Pulleys (USE UR Pulleys)
S/V AFC-II; AEM EMS; Greddy E-manage/Ultimate
N2O - wet kit only unless have Y8 IM swap with return fuel line then either
weight reduction
CAM - CROWER; still looking into whether a Y8 cam will work in an A2, might be company dependant
CAM GEAR - AEM (best bang for buck)
VALVETRAIN - KMS, Crower, any D16Y8 valvetrain
BOTTOM END - WISECO/CROWER pistons CROWER rods
TRANNY - Exedy, ACT, Clutchmasters, Findanza, ProStreetOnline - clutch/flywheel kits and separate

MSD DIS2 or 4 (not 100% sure which we need but the 4 will definately work if your willing to spend the money)

That's about it.

^ that list is not definitive, but it does give a very good indication of how far you can go if you are willing to shell out the cash; keep in mind that you can also get inventive, there are lots of similarities between the Y8 and the D17. And you never know companies may decide it's worth it to put more aftermarket parts out for our cars, keep searching every so often.

But I do agree that it would help the 7th gen crowd.

you can check out importperformanceparts.net too, they have some forged pistons for the D17, that are N/A apps raise comp to ~11.1.

sorry could you explain this too me ? you forgot denso iridium spark plugs and also Apexi Super Grounding System(comes w/voltage equilizer) it said that it gave a sti i think, 8 hp. And said anywhere from 5-9hp for most cars.

are you 100% sure about the MSD DIS2 or 4 will fit or I mean work w/my 1.7? I searched alittle around and couldnt find 1 for my car but idk..
