Default 97 b16 swap/cruise control problem?

okay- i purchased this car, (not in my possesion yet), but it is a 97 civic ex with a b16a2 swap. (5speed) everything is cool and stuff- except the cruise control. the guy said that the wires or something were too short- being that it was originally designed for right hand drive? does that make any sense? can i just lengthen wires or something stupid like that? something i can rig up? this is also my first import car- so i'm new at this whole thing. does anyone else have this setup? any comments on the setup? problems? i'll try and get some pics up soon. any help appreciated! Paul

I put an aftermarket steering wheel and rigged my cruise up, its not perfect, far from it, only the set/decelerate button works but hey I can set the cruise and decelerate so I really dont care. Check out a Chiltons manual they have the wiring diagrams in the back of the book. Good luck.
