Default Apexi Neo

I am currently looking into getting a AFC for my DIY turbo kit. I have come across the NEO, and I've heard that it also is a turbo timer, but havent been able to find proof of that. Does anybody know if this is true or not?

call the manufacturer.

What is your budget for fuel management? Chipped ecu's are the better way to go IMO.

what kind of setup are you looking to run, and on what car?

my local tuner said that I can go hondata or get a AFC. Since I will be doing a swap in a year or so, I just want to stay with an AFC. I have a 97 ex d16y8, and since its OBD2 i figured it would be easier and cost efficient with an AFC.

no way..

Chipped ECU - $150
Conversion Harness - $70

If I may ask, why are you boosting before doing a swap?

yea, well I boosting my d because i am impatient with getting more hp while im building my b series. Plus, this is kind of a trial and error type thing, where I'll have more experience with turbos when building my engine so I'll know what to build for ya know. Im going with a DIY kit which I believe is always better then the kits that arent made for your setup, just a generic kit. so after that long a$$ explaination......impatience and experience.

Oh I almost forgot. I am trying to build an OBD0 motor to swap into an OBD2 car and didnt know what ECU and harness I'd have to have anyway so I was steering clear of the whole electrical aspect. If I was to buy a chipped OBD1 ECU, and harness, which should I go with? Plus, would I still have to get it dynoed and tuned with the chipped ECU?

yeah, you'll have to get it tuned, just find someone who tunes with Crome and you'll be all set.

Chipped p28 is definitely the way to go

where to you recommend getting a p28? I dont know what I'm looking at when it comes to ECUs so I dont want to get a crap one from ebay or other half a$$ site ya know. Does the tuner have to tune with crome or is that just the best/most common with chipped ECUs?

I know that it'll take about 1 hour to tune with an V-AFC, how long will it take to tune with crome?
