i just got my ecu chipped and it will not rev up any higher then 3200rpm and that is even then i drive it is still doing that dose anyone no what is wrong

 

talk to whoever chipped the ecu

 

yea you need to be on the phone with that guy now, he messed something up big time

 

there is nothing wrong with the ecu it was been looked at by 2 speed shops and they both sayed there is nothing wrong with the ecu i have no idea were to start

 

hmm...sounds like your ecu is in "limp" mode.

 

Give me as much information as you can about the car. Make/Model/Year, Motor, mods (everything), etc etc etc..

 

yea that is what they said it was in limp mode the car is a 92 civic hatchback with a fully built b16a lsd tranny intake just bought a batter but it just keeps dieing thank that is the alternator though new header p28 ecu with a skunk2 chip new distbutor but the distbutor has been cut to fit the motor i looked and looked for the right disbutor but could not find it but it runs the car new spark plues-and wires new fuel rail 360injecters big axles i do not have a o2 sensor for the header right at the sec but have one coming new map sensor new tps sensor not sure about the speedsensor the speedater works so iguess it is working but that is pretty much it

 

I'm guessing the ecu is fried or invalid parameters where put in. Who ever chipped it, I'd have them redo it.

 

there is nothing wrong with the ecu i took it to speedinnovations and there was nothing wrong with it they put it in one of there cars and it worked fine

 

It's possible one of your ecu grounds are bad.
