Default Do I Have To Tune If....

would i have to tune my d16 if i put an aem fuel rail, aem fuel pressure regulator, and a walbro 255Lph Fuel Pump on my civic?

planning on turboingby mid winter, and idont want a huge bill all at once so i want to throwall the stuff i can get away with on it first.but im wondering if i can get away with that many mods added to the fuel systemuntil januaryish, thats when i want my turboandmy inevidabletune.

im also getting rc 440cc injectors but im guessing i would wait till i throw the turbo on to install. if i can get away with that ill buy that now too i guess.

sorry for noobie question i stil have aLOT of research to do [&:]

thx ahead for your advice

i would wait until you install the turbo to install the fuel rail, fpr, fuel pump. You are not going to see any gains with just these bolt ons because your engine does not need the extra fuel in stock form. Only after you turbo or do an engine build-up like pistons, rods etc should you upgrade your fuel system. also don't even think about putting 440's into your car until after the turbo is installed and your ecu is chipped b/c it will run soooo rich it probablywon't even start.
definitely do ALOT more research on turbocharging before you actually do it.

i had an AEM fuel rail on my stock si ( i got it that way) it was rich all the time. we took it off of my car and put a stock one on there when my si went down after i turbo'd it and my friend put it on his boosted 00si and he said that it instantly went rich since it could flow alot more fuel soo much easier.. so i would wait and put it on when u put the bigger injectors in there

I would sell the rail and FPR and use the money for sensible parts

for turboing i'm pretty sure as long as you just upgrade your injectors you'll be good, pretty sure the OEM Honda fuel pump is good for 300+ whp

DSM injectors + resistor box + clips is where its at (or so i've heard)

The pump has been said to reach 300whp, but theres no sense in maxxing it out. 255lph Walboro is a good solid preventative investment
