I was wondering when was a good time to replace an ECU. I have completed all Fuel, Air intake, and exhuast. I also have a Skunk2 cam with an aem cam gear an accel ingintion and a vafc 2. That and my current ecu has been tripping a lot of codes lately. So is it time for me to get an ecu, and if it is where can I go to find one. I have a D16Y8. That any other susgestion is open to.

Get a P28 ecu and a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness. Before have it chipped with uberdata or chrome management.

Crome is alot easier to use but doesnt work on all ECU's. If your throwing codes some of them can be eliminated with UBERdata... Its worth the conversion just for the ability to switch from 4 wire o2 sensor to 1 wire... save you tons of money on those lil bastards hehe.
