i have a question i have a 94 honda civic dx 1.5, and when i go a start the car up it rev 1500 and 2000 i was told by the guy a got the car form. he siad that he change the ecu and other question were is the ecu at on my car and how to fix it so it stop rev like that

 

The ecu is in the kick panel on the passenger side. Make sure it's the right ecu in the first place and then clean out your IACV.

 

how would i make sure it's the right one and the IACV i take my thottle a part and the have a new one come. thanks dude

 

look up the ecu serial number for that car and engine.

 

Should be p06 ECU i think.

 

i know it have a diffent motor in it now

 

what engine does it have in it now?

 

i find out the problme the car i sohc and the is ecu is for a dohc vect and it's 37820-p28-A01 in there i guess it for a h22 the one that should be in there is 37820-p06-a02 how can check to see what car that the ecu can form.
