Ecu barcode question
Hi all,
I have a 1994 Civic 3 door VTECH-E, D15Z1 Engine. Vehicle is running rich after warming up. I have already changed injectors and O2 sensor, so now I am looking to find a used replacement ECU unit.
My qustion is do you have to use the same barcode number on the replacement ECU. the number on mine is: 37820-P07-L02 as well as 747-720096 AUY IPT. I have had conflicting advice as to what I can use, the junk yard says I need exact barcode. Another person pointed me towards a:
37820-P28
Any advice on this matter is greatly apprieciated

Are you just hoping that replacing the ECU will solve the problem?
Is the CEL ON?
Have you looked for an exhaust leak upstream of or near the O2 sensor?
Have you measured the fuel pressure and tested whether the fuel pressure regulator is functioning properly?
Is the temperature sensor malfunctioning or the thermostat stuck open?
