Default ECU in the civic

I know I might be asking a D.A. question but does the 2001 Honda Civic Ex Vtech come with a stock ECU? I can't find any or find out if they are built into it.

I just found out that it is the K-pro.
If I get one what would it cost to get it put in and dyno'd

K-pro is for K-series engines. You don't have a K-series engine. You have a D17A2

K-pro isn't stock, it's a Hondata product

It's VTEC, not Vtech. Vtech is an electronics company makes household cordless phones and learning games for little kids.

All (modern) cars come stock with an ECU. It's the computer that controls how the engine runs.

K-pro is a type of ECU modification that allows you to change how the ECU tells the engine to run, A.K.A. tune.

You cannot use K-pro, you have to use a piggyback engine management system such as AEM EMS
