I have a 1992 honda civic dx. When i floor the gas the check engine light comes on then when i turn off engine and start again the light is off. I installed a cold air intake. I know this is a guttless car but this goes way beyond that. whenever i floor it, it just won't get up and go at all. The ECU trouble code is 43. Any suggestions, Thanks

 

If no one responds with an answer, I would just call the dealership, have them ring services, and ask them what a code 43 on your model Civic represents... Then go from there. Good luck!

Code 43 "Fuel supply system oxygen sensor". Check fuel pressure. Check Fuel pressure regulator. Check for any vacuume leaks.

 

I also have a 1992 civic and Am looking to put a new cold air intake system on it... although mine is not gutless ahaah , ne sugestions for the best cold air?...all the best in the future bro
