I've a MY98 civic MB6 and it's going to be getting a standalone EMS.
My question is which to get (heard it before I know). But, I want a display, something that shows throttle % and injector duty cycle etc.
I've read the Apexi FC can but it's in Japanese, and has been discontinued.
My local tuner is fine with the S300 or power FC, but mentioned those things on the FC - might have been simpler if he'd said "we only do the ..."
Are there any other ECUs about with displays, or is there a display I can add to an S300?

 

your "display" can be your laptop. ide go with hondata unless you have a decent amount of money to spend on engine management

Laptop's likely to get nicked, unfortunately I couldn't take it everywhere I go, and don't really have space for an in-car pc and am not keen on getting pulled over for the touchscreen in-dash monitor (cd player pushed back to the boot) It's also freaky costs just to get a display on a s300, then there's the time for putting the chip/board into the ECU.
I think I'm going for the power FC, and will have to learn what the Japanese characters mean.
I don't mind spending a decent amount for it to be right, but I'm not going crazy on it.
