ecu question
If I recall correctly the PO5 is set-up to work with a wideband O2 sensor. If that is the case than the P06 will not work right for you as it simply can not handle data from a wideband O2. And unfortunately I do not know of a way to convert a P06 to a P05. I'm pretty sure it's impossible.
how is it that you can use a DOHC ecu on a SOHC engine. and sence you can use a LS ecu on a Civic DX what year LS ecu should i use on a 94 DX and is there any performance gains i am also thinking about doing a mini me swap sometime next year are there any other ecu's that can be used other than the D16 v-tec ecu?
Really the major ddifference between an LS ecu and a DX icu is compensation for more displacemet. SOHC and DOHC ecu wise doesn't really matter. may be there are two camshaft sensors instead of one, dunno, but no big difference otherwise.
actually I think I'm wrong on the O2 sensor wiring. I had it confused with the vx which has a wideband 5-wire O2. The CX on the other hand has a one iwre O2. in order to use a dx ecu you would have to convers to a 4-wire O2 sensor...now how to that I'm unsure of.
will i dont know if you anyone knows this but... i have a difficult problem with my honda civic coupe... ( d16z6 )... i had a p28 ecu and it dont let me redline at 7200rpm.... it only goes to 6100rpm.... and i'm getting burned...hahaha.. but if you know what to do in my situation... please help me.. i'm new at this thing so if you can that would be great ... oh yea.. and i had a friend that told me it might be my ecu so i put in his p28 and it still does the same thing.. i tried reseting my ecu and it still doesnt satisfy me.. so help me you racers...
