ecu question
i have got a 94 civic cx hatch that had d15b8 well my g/f blew the motor up in it and it has been out of comission for about a month or so, well a friend of mine had a beat up totalled 93 civic 4 door with a d15b7 in it. he said i could have the car no charge if i wanted the motor because the rest of the car was junk.. so i swapped the motors the only problem is the donor car was an automatic, and mine is a 5 spd. so now i have p05 ecu for a 5 spd. and p06 ecu thats automatic. i am throwing cel's so i figure that is the reason is there a way to convert the p06 to be a manual ecu.. also my d15b8 was not equipped with a map sensor however the d15b7 was and now i have a vacumm line open on the throttle body and no sensor to plug into any ideas?

RE: ecu question
I had the same problem the way fix it is get a engine diagram and retrace all the wires to make sure you are doing it right but of course you know there are alot of harness differences but you can do it with a little time. if you have any anything you need to know and i can help i have all the wiring on my comp. so holla at me and we can swap suggestions

RE: ecu question
well i used the harness off of the d15b7 for one because it was already connected and two the O2 sensor on the b7 has 4 wires aposed to the b8 has only 2.. i think i will check the codes and see what it is throwing and go from there. if its the transmission code i will try to convert it to a manual ecu.
