ecu question

Default ecu question

i'm gonna do the header, cat-back, throttle body, and intake manifold upgrades.... do i need to do anything to the ecu? if not, when would i need to upgrade it also?

as far as i know you should not have to do anything with the ecu, it should just be a straight swap of parts out and parts in. im not sure though since ive never replaced the im or the tb on my car, so maybe wait for someone else to respond to this.

I would keep piling up the mods for a while before you get to tinkerin' with the ECU. Especially since you're OBDII, in order to take full advantage you'd have to swap in a p28 and convert to OBD1. You dont have emissions testing do you?
