Do you mean CEL when you say ECU? If so, check whether the bulb is blown.

When you hit the gas and the mph went up, was the transmission in gear? Does the car drive?

DjHagios 01-12-2010 12:49 PM

so delete two of them.

DjHagios 01-12-2010 10:04 PM

tryed to delete them in advanced editing but didnt see it. if a mod want to delete it i give them permission. i didnt think it did it three times though didnt mean to. i jus need help with my car thats all.

check ALL your fuses, there is a 30a fuse under the dash that goes to the ecu.

DjHagios 01-14-2010 06:19 PM

ill give it a look. cause i kno my 15amp fuse is good under the hood.

DjHagios 01-18-2010 03:35 PM

so i did a little messing around and i took the wire from my fuel pump and touched it on to my ecu power source. my check engine light come on but i get this grinding noise from the main relay and it opens but dosent shut off.???? any clues.

i say check all your grounds, there should be battery - going to the motor/trans and one going to the frame, also there should be some on the thermostat housing.

DjHagios 01-20-2010 01:14 PM
