Honda Civic 2000 Codes P1298/P0132 and P0131 After a While
I'm new here and i want to share some info we the people here because i got so much information from this forum.
I Have a Civic 2000 that it was giving the codes P1298 and P0132 with random misfires here and there(codes for that too), sputtering when pressing the gas and all the symptoms that the people here had with these codes.
This is what i replaced to fix the problem:
New Spark plugs, cables, rotor cap,fuel pump,fuel filter, ELD, ignition coil(it need it), igniter, MAF, etc and nothing seemed to work, until i decided to go with the most expensive part: a new exhaust manifold with the catalytic converter (it had a big crack all the way to the O2 sensor) + new oxygen sensors. I didnt know that a crack on there could cause those problems but it was.
Replaced that and now runs like a champ!!!
