Default knock sensor interchangeability

anyone know if the knock sensor from an integra will work ok with a d16y8? I have heard conflicting statements.

Have you checked the parts numbers out? Maybe obd2a and 2b are different? Otherwise, a knock sensor is pretty simple with only one wire coming out the back. It grounds through the motor. The only other difference between the two I could imagine is the thread pitch, however, Honda usually does not make things that complicated.

EDIT -
Knock sensor part number from a 99 Civic EX = 30530-P2M-A01
Knock sensor part number from a 99 Integra = 90059-PR3-000

I would assume that they are in fact different by looking at the part numbers.
