Default LC-1 use?

Well, right now, i have a narrow band a/f gauge in my gauge pod. i was thinking about getting an innovate LC-1 without a gauge, i would then take the narrowband output from the LC-1 and send it to the ecu, and the gauge i have right now. i assume that would work correctly, and since it had the dataloging port, i can get the true wideband using the laptop, i also assume this would be easyer then installing their own wideband for whoever is tuning my car?

Unless you're the one tuning the car, the only way that the wideband is really going to be benefitial to you is if you have a realtime gauge. That way you're getting instant feedback and you don't need to carry a laptop etc.

All of the wiring to the ECU etc only allows you to collect wideband readings for your datalogging.

So it is pretty much pointless unless i am gonna have the laptop with me all the time right? so i should just add a second o2 bung to my dp when i make it? and then have the tuner use their own wideband?
