Default misfire?help

hey guys, my tuner ditched out on me a week ago to tune my car and since he jsut messed with it, its running like crap. i have the greddy kit for a 98 civic with emanage blue. before i added the aem fuel rail and walbro pump and 750cc the car ran fine. i took the 750's out and put the 310's in. the car runs fine till im just steady throttle it will go lean for a sec and bouce back to normal. any ideas aside from getting rid of the emanage right now. the fuel pump too much? or the fuel rail? that shouldnt matter right.very lost

Sorry to hear about your tuner. I bet he found out you were running an E-manage and backed out. LOL j/k

You say you are ditching the E-manage? What will you be replacing it with?

You should be fine with 750's, as long as it is tuned correctly. I believe the 310's run better because they are "closer" to the stock 240's, which is what your ecu is thinking should be there. Regarding the lean spot you see, you should be able to add fuel to that area of the map and see the AFRs come back.

the 750's wont even start. think it might be the fuel pump. gonna put the stock one back in. the walbro is brand new. the rail wont do anything so ill try the pump

If the car runs with the Walbro and 310s, but will not run with the Walbro and 750s, how do figure it is the pump?

So, you are saying it is doing the same thing with the 310's and stock pump? Fuel rail really has nothing to do with it. They are mostly an appearance mod unless you have some ridiculous fuel needs.

Sooooo... that rules out the fuel pump, right?

Do you still have the stock injectors by chance? throw them in, or you could find a new tuner and go from there.
