i live n indiana and the weather is getting warmer. it is no coincidence my car just started running like ****.i should be more specfic. when i have to sit idle like at a stop sign or in stop and go traffic my idle will drop. and then flucuate up and down. if i have to sit too long when i take off my engine starts sputtering at 3000. after a few seconds it will pick back up,it never had this problem in the cold weather. it seems to me and my bro that its loading up on fuel and has n way to get rid of it. i have a b18c1 with the normal mods(I,H,E) but i also have a fuel rail, and my brother thinks that is the problem. he thinks i need to get bigger injectors. itslike im getting a bunch of fuel but no way to burn it off. if you have an advice please help i dont want to do damage to my motor. (maybe fuel pump???) thanks

 

Check your coolant level, fast idle valve and EACV. Those are the most probable causes for you problem. I bet your fuel rail is not a porblem, and bigger injectors would not help.

 

another thing i frgot to mention is that when i get gas, no matter how much i have it, runs like **** when i start it back up. almost like it wants to die. then after a few blips on the throttle its strait again
