Default new I/H/E maybe running rich?

I used the search engine already and i can't find exactly what i want to know....
I just installed an I/H/E,and i have no leaks,i am gettingBAD gas mileage (about 120/tank), my alignment is good, tires are good, i have my 02 sensors on, but i did not reset my ECU.I know that i have to un-plug my battery for about 10 mins, then plug it back up and let it idle....why am i smelling alot of gasoline? and alot of think grayish smoke? and i have a CEL light but nobody has anything where i live to tell me what is throwing the code. Tomorrow im resetting the ECU....i hope it works. Any other suggestions?

If your smelling gasoline inside your car it might not have anything to do with the I/H/E. I would get that checked out you might have a hole in your gas tank or gas line. I would bring it to a mechnic befor using seafoam. Or atleast an autozone to find what the code is, you must have one of those within 50 miles...

My bad, i dont smell it inside the car but i can smell it very very good outside, i dont know if it is because i pushing out more exhaust and the smell is stronger. the gas lines and tank look fine.....i dont have any autozone just a NAPA and they dont do it....i hate AK.....i cant wait to move to NC this summer!

you can use this DIY to check your own CEL: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_152006/tm.htm

i'd guess you damaged one or both of your o2 sensors when installing the header/exhaust
