I just got finished with a whole crap load of trouble with that code, get an O2 simulator; casperelectronics.com 70 shipped, fixed problem.

I have never seen vapor lock throw a code on a ecu on any car let alone a civic. you can try it though
Happened to me. I donated my cap to a gas station several hours from home once and got a napa one and I guess it didn't fit right or something and the light came on and I brought it in and they said to get a Honda cap, so I did and about a week later it went off.

So im guessing its that second o2 sensor throwing back that code. See i dont mind if i have to replace my cat, i was planning on doing the rest of my exhaust next summer. What is confusing me is that the people at autozone said it was bank 1 that was below threshold? Should i even worry about what they are talking about?

Yeah they threw me off too, and I went through 3 Bosch sensor replacing the first one, it is the "aftercat" sensor, the bank 1 is for those OBD2 cars with 2 catalyst systems, you can replace your cat, I have a full exhaust with a high flow cat and still threw that code, over the christmas break I'm gonna take a look at the cat and see if it dumped, but I still threw that code after about 3 months with the high flow on. The O2 simulator solves the CEL, its much cheaper than a cat. I'd say do up the O2 sim for now and hold off till you do the rest of the exhaust to worry about replacing the cat. (unless you have inspection coming up soon).

Is that second 02 sensor even important?

Pull the code and fix it right, if your CEL is on all the time from a O2 sensor you will never know when something else is trying to trip it to tell you something is wrong. Just my $.02
