what is my 94 dx d15b7 engine set up with? and switching to a y8 head would i need obd1? i'm looking at getting the ecu and wiring harness soon so i need to know what to look for. i know i need a p28 ecu for an auto. and what about the wiring harness?

 

i am pretty sure you will need a obd1, but you can run on a obd2 (i believe) it automaticly comes with a obd1 or my 95 did.

94 = OBD-1. You will just have to wire up vtec.

 

yes it is an auto. shes in the process of getting her license now because when she lived in new york she didn't need a license or a car. so now to start out shes gonna drive an auto til i get a 5 speed then i'll teach her on that.

 

in order to wire the vtec, i obviously have to get a certian wire for it with the proper plugs. do i have to buy a whole new/used wiring harness? or can i find just the clump of wires to run from the vtec solonoid to the ecu? wiring is a nightmore for me, yet i still try and do it. i like over-coming my fears.
